Need the correct switch, but, others have found that most of the wiring is already there.

SLT models and up have had the wring present from my experience. There's a connector on the cross member under the radiator. Add fuse and relay to the under hood PDM and get the correct switch and bingo. Use an OEM harness or cut the connector and use your own.

I've added the fog lights on my truck. Finding the existing OE fog light switch wiring inside the cab is what I found to be a challenge. Luckily, I have an upcoming project to change out the entire dash assembly (my lower dash is cracking up) and the used dash assembly I plan to install has the fog light switch and wiring readily exposed in the dash. When I perform the dash swap as the weather warms up, I'm sure I'll find the hiding place for the OE fog light wiring harness for the '94 - '97 Dodge Rams in the old dash.

Just to be clear for the OP, 99+ fog light wiring is all in the harness, switch is plug n play, its not like the 98 and older trucks that had a completely different switch in the middle of the dash.
