Default Comparison of Ethernet extenders and Wi-Fi: what to choose for a stable network?

I’ve been struggling with my home network for a while now. My router is on one side of the house, but my work setup is on the other. Wi-Fi works, but I get random dropouts, especially when multiple people are streaming or gaming. I looked into Ethernet extenders, but I’m not sure if they’re actually better than just using a good Wi-Fi system. I’d rather have a stable connection than just a fast one. Has anyone here tried both? Which one worked better for you?

You might want to consider installing an access point closer to the area where you work in your house. That will entail running an Ethernet cable from your router to a location closer to your work area, allowing the access point to beam your WiFi signal farther away from your existing router/WiFi coverage area without the degradation of using a WiFi extender. There are numerous access points you can check out from numerous vendors. Ubiquiti makes some rock-solid units with power over Ethernet.

Good luck!

Can't find squat on the image. The shirt he is wearing though, is available from several sources....
Gonna just lock this one. We will see what he posts next, IF he comes back.
