Default Need help ASAP!

So boys, everything works fine before. I put it into neutral then 4 low and put it back into drive and nothing happend, tried every gear and everything on the t case. It’s a 97 half ton

It doesn't move at all??? Does it feel like the t-case shifter is actually doing anything??

Doesn’t try to move or bog down or anything. The tcase has a little grind when your shifting it to something else but besides that nothing, you can feel it pop into like a gear ya know. Also can’t put the truck in park if that helps

Think I would crawl under there, and look at the linkages anyway..... Somethin' ain't quite right.

Yesterday I had the same thing happen to me. When I put mine in 2wd my truck just doesn't move. I can only drive in 4wd. Once I get some time this week I am going to check out Actuator and move it manually to see if I engage it.

Can you put the truck in park with the engine off ? When the transfer case is in neutral with the engine running the transmission output spins and the transmission makes ugly noises when trying to shift to park. As HeyYou wrote the shift linkage might be out of whack/disconnected.

Not at all uncommon for the bushings in the shifter linkage to become brittle with age and fall out. This causes the issue you may be experiencing...
