Default 46 RE shifting

So I had to replace the 8 pin connector and the Pressure Solenoid (EPC)
Governor Pressure Sensor (Transducer)
Overdrive & Lock-up Solenoid Assembly
Main Internal Wiring Harness
Governor Solenoid Body Gasket
But in OD it will constantly downshifts when going up any type of grade in the road, or flat land at times, OD off shifts fine? any ideas no OBD codes

Is it dropping out of o/d? Or is it just torque converter clutch bounce? How much of an RPM change are you seeing?

about 1800 then downshifts to 3000, when it drops out of OD, not converter bounce, all shifts are pretty positive, may have a shift kit?

Seems awful sensitive though..... Would be interesting to see what the PCM thinks TPS, and Engine Load are under those conditions.

Also keep in mind, O/D enables at right about 43 MPH, or, what the Speedometer shows as 43 in any event.... If you are right around that speed, *might* make it a bit more touchy about staying in O/D.

didn't think of that, I also went from 35" tires to 33" but that shouldn't matter!

Smaller tires should make it LESS of an issue...... What gears in the diffs?

Gears are gonna be a contributor to the problem as well then. The PCM will be seeing higher load than what it expects when you are accelerating, and that may cause it to drop out of O/D, and even downshift to second.
