A 'little'??? Hhmmm.... Ok. That's certainly not helping..... Need to try and pry up on the trans/t-case back by the mount, see if the mount is still one piece, or if it's now two.... Also may wanna try and adjust the shift linkage... When it's actually IN gear, there should be a detent that holds it in place, but, not real firm....
Checked the engine mounts and they were shot, wound up getting those replaced with new shocks because it was overdue anyways. The problem still occurs and when I hopped under and played with the linkage on the transmission it was hard to pop it out of any gear except going forward from drive to neutral, it was extremely easy. Is there anyway to tighten it or something inside the transmission that would be the problem?
Did you lift the transmission to see if the rear mount is solid? You could have worn bushings on the linkage, although those usually just make it difficult to shift into a specific gear. I don't work on the inside of transmissions but there is a cog inside that might be worn, although I've never seen it happen.

I’ll give the trans a lift tomorrow and let yall know with some pictures!!! I had just gotten home and quickly took those pics because a gnarly storm rolled in!

[img alt="Lifted the trans up from the transfer case to see if it was separated. I don’t think the bolt is supposed to be separated from the transmission mount…
Also noticed that as the truck was lifted, the shift linkage started pulling so it’s most likely what the problem has been. I think you're on track to solve your problem. Your transmission mount should allow a slight twist and still hold the tail shaft in place. The bolt pulling through means it's shifting under load. Add in a lift, the shifter linkage is under tension and a slight shift will pull it into neutral. Replace your mount, polyurethane is pretty solid and durable, maybe extend your linkage a shade and you should solve most of the issue. With a lift on it, I'd replace the engine side mounts with the same type mount as the transmission. One plus to urethane mounts is they are resistant to oil leaks. Oil rots rubber and it's pretty nasty under your truck. The oil leaks may have been the failure point.
Just those three mounts replaced will make a difference in how your truck drives and handles. Especially under load.

just replaced the transmission mount and she’s definitely driving better. The bolt on the old mount broke through the top metal bit but all the rubber seemed mostly intact. Took her to drive around the base and she knocked into neutral when hitting big bumps under acceleration still
I’ve replaced the shocks, motor mounts, transmission mount, and I still don’t know what it could be. She drives amazing other than that though now! I’m going to try adjusting the shift linkage again but I may just slap a go pro under the truck to see if it’ll give be a better understanding of what’s going on.
You may want to take the linkage off the shift lever and see how easy/hard it is to move. If it's easy the spring may have broke and not keeping pressure on the ball to hold the position on the rooster comb.
