I had a slant 6 one time that the coil wire went bad on
I got home, hit the shower and went to head out. I had shut the truck off maybe 45 minutes before. Go to get in it and leave, and crank crank and crank. It wasn't til I burnt out a starter, replaced it with one I had laying around, and it started to get dark when I saw the coil wire arcing out to of all things a heater hose. I moved the coil wire over and it fired right up. I was dumbfounded and pissed when I found it.
