241 DHD transfer case - what to consider for a spare?

I guess I've never dealt with a 2500 V8, I had a 96 v10 with a 47re and that was a 241dld i believe, just figured the big motors had the 241 and the little motors had the 231. The snowplow and hd packages would both make sense i guess. No two ram trucks built the same lol
