How hard is it to swap a cab onto a new frame?
I have a 1998 1500 two wheel drive with frame rot but the cab and bed are really nice same with the motor and trans is there anyway? I could maybe swap this under the same wheelbase 2500 four-wheel-drive cab that was in a rollover or something similar how many hours would you guys think it would take? And are the cabs compatible? I mean I don’t see why not same wheelbase I do really like this truck

Your vin says it's a 2WD, Putting it on a 4WD frame maybe asking for trouble. Especially if you still have inspections. You will need the same configuration frame as what your truck has. Different cab/bed lengths the frame will need to be modified to match yours.

Talk to whatever passes for the vehicle registration authority in your location, and see what you what need for something like an assembled vehicle title.....
May have to transfer the VIN from your frame donor vehicle, to your existing cab.
