on the topic of batteries.... what causes them to corrode so F&*&ing fast???

it seems like all the time i am cleaning them!!

 

you have an optima? then yea i guess it doesnt matter then huh.... yea electrical hyd pumps for plows drain a BUTT load of power... the newer ones come with similar stiffening caps like car audio use... atleast my uncles did when he got his this season.. cost his an asstonbuttload of money but its one hell of a plow setup

 

depending on where in canada you are it can partley all the salt they but on the roads in the winter i know here they do for about 10 months of the year drives me nuts....

 

The optima battery are great for 4x4s as there are no plates to short out or fall. The gel batteries are awesome for off-road.
