Default 5.9 V8 Injectors

Looking for stock size injectors. Anybody have any recommendations? I don't want cheap China knockoffs that suck. I believe I have a leaking injector causing a long start after sitting.

P.S. Hey you fuel pump has been changed :b

I finally found a video showing differences between (in this case) 4 hole vs 12 hole injectors dyno tests. There are tons of videos showing spray patterns and flow but no real dyno specs to see. I'm sure there are variables that they didn't test like flow rate differences(non matched) etc. If you watch to the end i disagree about K&N vs paper. They were probably testing a dirty K&N. Again plenty of videos to watch on that subject also. There are probably places where you can get stock injectors cleaned and flow matched vs ebay and RA.

From what I understand, the stock injectors, which are one hole... fire a stream of fuel at the backside of the rather hot intake valve, which flashes the fuel into a vapor. (and also cools the valve....) Which accomplishes pretty much the same thing, as multi-hole injectors.

With the tests i seen the multi hole ones flow more and atomize better than the single hole ones. Does this get you better fuel economy or performance is the question?

I doubt that it makes a noticeable difference. Maybe if you were racing, it would be a worthwhile 'upgrade', but, for a daily driver? Nope. Spend your money elsewhere.

Not my truck but I've replaced the 6 on a 4.0, and a 02 BMW X5 I replaced all 8. I get the flow matched to 1% and 4 hole, refurbished. They ran smoother a bit but nothing to write home about. If they gave any HP or extra fuel milage it wasn't noticeable to me.

When I did my plenum repair, I replaced all the injectors with stock replacement units. I changed so much when I did the job I don't know if they made a difference but the truck runs and idles smooth compared to before. Then again, it was a sick engine before.

There is something ****ling at the back of my mind. I know I had to make a gasket for the throttle body on the intake so I have a very low idle when first started. A block or two down the road it goes away.
