Transfer case wiring diagram
So boys and girls. put in a cable actuator because the vacuum one was fubar.. but still when I go into 4wd hi I get a god awful clicking like gears are trying to engage, in 4 lo range nada.. pulled my vacuum harness and its junk, does anyone think this is the issue, plus where does the Blue, red green, blac, gray connect to in the engine compartment, can not find the diagram? Black line is vacuum source, should go to passenger side of the intake, one of the vacuum ports there. (it my just connect to the bag o' snakes over there too.) Green line is a vent. Just runs up behind the engine, doesn't connect to anything. Other two lines run up front to the cad. One to each port. But, as you don't have that any more, you can pull the whole thing, plug the spot it hooked to on the engine, and call it a day.
If you get bad grinding in 4 high, but not 4 lo, that is likely a mechanical issue in the t-case itself, prolly gonna have to pull it, and open it up to see what's going on.

The t-case controls front d/s. The vac controls CAD. With vehicle elevated determine if RF shaft engages in either 4wd position. Then determine if you can spin front d/s in P. If you can spin the d/s in 4hi or 4lo, the problem is linkage (external) or in the t-case (internal)
