Default 46RH trans fluid getting to hot.

Is there a way to keep the trans fluid from getting too hot when towing? It already has an external trans cooler and there is no option to upgrade the radiator. It's a 94 dodge ram 2500 with a 5.9L 8cyl gas.
Thanks!

Never tow in OD aways off when towing. It's the steep hills that really cause the temp to go up.

How much weight are you pulling?

I might be tempted to back flush the trans coolers..... With the radiator, and the aux cooler, your trans should not be overheating.

The dry weight trailer is 5k, I'm thinking with the truck and trailer loaded I'm pulling close to 7k.
