As far as I remember, the ground pin for the relay goes thru the park/neutral switch, and then directly to ground. It's entirely possible it can be a problem, but, verify that before just throwing money at it.

OK so pin 80 yeah 87 to the ignition wire the small wire that goes to the starter I have power going there. I have power from 30 and 86 and 87 when the ignition is on so I guess I’m getting power to the starter and I’m getting power from the switch to the relay, but it’s not cranking the double check the fuses and the relays. They are all good. I even checked to make sure that the neutral safety switch is plugged in correctly and that I have continuity there throughout the wires. Everything’s plugged in and brand new starter. It’s a solid wire essentially I replaced the ignition wire from the starter to the battery to the fuse box because that one was kind of dingy. I’m getting power there. I’m just I am just lost with why is it not starting essentially and what it can be so I am double checking everything. I have the fuse box essentially pulled apart to double check everything on that.

So I have everything pulled apart I have power going through the new switch or new connector I have for the ignition switch from the fuse power and the battery. I know that that has power. I’ve checked it several different times power from the relay to the connector I have power when I turn the key I get power and on pin I believe 86 was one tested on with the key on and key off. I get power respectfully if it’s on versus off and I’m just lost for words I mean, I can. I can hook up with a screwdriver to the starter and make it jump, but as far as it starting from the connector from the switch and inside, it’s nothing there’s no power going to it. It seems like kind of cut up the harness, not the connectors, but the wire loom to see each wire to make sure I’m tracing the right wire and I’m just stumped

Try applying power directly to pin 87, relay out, see if the engine cranks.

So I have the Test light in one of the cylinders into the spark plugs there’s no light coming from it so there’s no spark and I’m pretty sure there’s no fuel, but it cranks with power being jumped to 87

Coil output voltage is around 40 THOUSAND volts. That'll smoke your testlight right quick.

With key on, and applying power to pin 87, it still won't start??

Yes, applying to 1087 will crank it. I have a Test light like the ignition test in line with one of the spark plugs and it’s not glowing. It’s not like flashing, but it does crank.

Ok, read back thru the thread. Make SURE the trans is in park. Given that the shift linkage stuff isn't all there, that's the first thing that needs to happen.

Was the engine or trans swapped in recent memory?? Crank position sensors are frequent victims of that exercise.....
