Some of 'em won't be the same.

Check the crank sensor first, it is frequently a victim in that situation.

I found this when I was checking the ignition coil pick up and I took off the crank position sensor crank position sensor visually doesn’t look too bad. There is some dust and some metal shavings on there, but not too big of a deal. The ignition will pick up. I feel like every Dodge I’ve seen or every time I replace this or take it out it’s always bent in the exact same way every time.

I replaced the pick up rotor button and cap for the distributor. Still nothing cranks from adding power to the penny seven nothing from the key switch.

Are you getting power to the coil? Keep in mind, you will only have power there for about three seconds at initial key on, then only if the PCM sees the engine turning.

Check AT the coil connector. Stick a test light in it or something, that you can see from the drivers seat. Light should come on for a few seconds when you turn the key on, and should come on, and stay on, while the engine is cranking.
