could someone tell me what a fastman TB is. Im guessing it is a Throttle Body but what is it, bigger than stock and how much does one run. I am from Ohio and I really have no clue how to make my ram run any better. I would like some feed bay. Thanks.

K&N doesn't make throttle body's, they make filters.

The K&N CAI will run you in the ballpark of $200, a 50mm Throttle Body from Thefastman.com will run you about $250 + an $80 core charge. Alternatively, you could get someone to bore out your current TB for cheaper and you won't have to pay the core charge.

 

Hypertech and throttle body were the two best mods I made to my 5.2. They really woke the engine up. I did a comparison between the two, first I installed the hypertech with the stock throttle boby and did some 0-60 runs and some hill climbs. Then I reset the computer to stock and installed my new throttle body and ran the same tests. I found through my tests that the hypertech made a little more of a power increase than the throttle body. However, it wasn't until I ran them in combination that I saw a huge improvement over stock. The combination cost me about $455 ($275 for programmer and $180 for the tb) and I think it was worth every cent.

You forgot the most important one the DF decal. But he's out of luck huh. Maybe someday he will be lucky enough to be one of the few that got that Hp increase!
Seriously I agree with you. He already has the cat-back so he has got it to breath a little better. Now just need to feed it more and Smoke them tires.
