Default 1 month...still no truck...

The 99 sport that I showed ya'll was sold the day I actually showed it. I called about the truck and they was like we just sold that truck a few days ago. So....1 month has gone by and still no truck. The off-road dodge is still sitting in that lot. I hate to tell that man but he needs to at least put tires on the truck. 17" tires aren't cheap. Well, anyways, I'm still looking for a truck with no luck. Even the state paper doesn't have hardly any trucks. I think I just picked the wrong time to sell my truck but oh well. Its just a slow time in the auto business. I miss ol'blackie, especially after having to drive this pos ranger. I get pissed off just driving it. It has a 3.0 v6, I don't know what the hp is but I feel like its got a Briggs and Stratton in it. Its hard to adjust to, going from a 5.9 Ram to a 3.0 ford. I just can't seem to find a truck. Everyone I find always has something f'ed up about it. sorry for my griping, I just needed to vent.

I feel your pain it was a year or so before I found my truck I really wanted a F-250 diesel or F-150 flareside but never found one then saw this Dodge and fell in love.

I also feel your pain with the less powerful vehicle going back to my other Ram50 is about like you describe only worse. My Honda is the same way atlhough it is a lot faster than the Ram it just doens't have the same powerful feel to it.

Try "carsoup.com" online. or "truck trader" online if you haven't already. Also, most newspapers have their classifieds online, you could try searching the papers in your area online if you haven't already. There are several 2gen Dodges for sale in this area,(St Louis metro) we have a "car soup" site here you could look at, if you are willing to come up here to look or buy a truck.......

Hey dont know if this will help or if it really is what you want. I have a guy by me who has a 1997 Dodge 1 ton dually 4x4 ext cab desiel, auto, all power options with new tires I believe and a new tranny just installed. He is wanting someone to trade him a small truck and take over his payments. He owes $8600 or $8900 on it. Books at $12,000 so well worth it. If I could do it I would in a heart beat. Just trying to offer some help, may not even be close to what you want.

HAHA j/k I know exactly what you are saying took me almost a year to find the one I got. Now the dealer has atleast 8 sitting in the lot. Don't dare go and see whats there because I know I will just get pissed or buy another one. That would **** of the wife [sm=bicker.gif] cuz she needs a new car first. I killed her amigo hehe. Keep on looking and chin up the ranger can't be as bad as her amigo was.

There are a few on ebay for sale and it updates often. My brother just got his new van on there and loves it. The only thing to watch is the dealers feedback and most all are covered by a waranty.

I don't have a craigslist around here (arkansas), and I've been searching autotrader daily with no luck. This just seems to be a bad time to try and find a vehicle. [:@]
