Default Engine bay flaps

Anyone out there have those flaps that run from the fender well to the frame that keeps the majority of the slop out? Mine are missing and I would gladly reduce your garage clutter. I am sure I could find them in a salvage yard but my free time to go looking (unless your talking "midnight auto supply") is virtually non-existent.

I've heard of people using conveyor belt pieces to make their own undercarriage flaps. They work good and most gravel plants have pieces laying around they are willing to part with. The belts are very thick and last a long time, from what i've heard.

They are called gap gaurds and a google search under Dodge Ram Gap Gaurds should work. If you find some please tell me I need them for the same area. When I 4 wheel water splashs on my K&N cone filter and washes the oil away

thanks

Zeekxxx, do you have this problem when just normally driving in the rain? I have thought about getting a K&N cai, but had wondered about water problems....

Nope rain is np its the huge water holes. The water hits the block and A-arm and bounces off it onto the filter. Rain is np. Gap gaurds would stop this.

I just made an extention of the shield and molded it (sortof) to the fender so water cant get up there directly. works pretty good.

Went to the stealership today, the trucks do not come with these and therefore cannot be ordered. The gap guards zeekxxx mentioned are to fill the gap created by installing a BODY lift, not what I want or need. So it looks like I will be fabbing some, the conveyor belt sounds good but would be way to thick to easily work with. When I find the right stuff and git-er-dun I will be sure to post some pics.
