Cummins all the way! No one has mentioned re-sale value yet, the Cummins truck easily depreciates at about 1/2 the rate of a gas truck.

.
They just need to stuff a Cummins in the PW, so we can get the full package. We'll most likely go with the Cummins. Just need to let the new headlamps grow on us... ugly!

They don't have a Cummins for the PW? Thats wierd. If it was me though pulling a Jeep on a trailer I'd go with the PW. They are freakin BAD ***! I want one! And what Tani said is true. If you break somewhere the PW will totally be able to run in there and snag it out with lockers F&R!

Check again Because it's not

The 5.7L Hemi is the only motor listed in Build & Price, and it's the only motor listed as being available in the model comparison.

The 5.9 would push the $$$ over 40,000 without ANY other options select. That would just be crazy, for a 3/4 ton anyway!

Yeah they're site is kinda stupid now that I look at it. You pick Power Wagon, and then once you start picking options it turns into a normal 2500. Wierd!

well...either way a CTD or a PW will help on getting your jeep out if you burry it... the PW is badass... but the CTD is uncomparable ESPECIALLY when your towing... and thats the MAIN purpose youll be using it for... and the CTD's use a bulletproof tranny... now sure what the PDubs use...and youll have turbo...and who doesnt want turbo??!!?!?!?!?!

From what I understand, the HEMIs use the same trannies as the CTDs do. Just a different bellhousing. Chryslers main concern with the transmissions for the 3rd gens was building them to withstand the CTD once they cranked it up. And if it could wistand that, it would work with the HEMI just fine. That was the word anyway. Maybe it's not true. [>:] I never looked into it much, since I seem to be lacking the 40 large to buy one.

CTD all the way. Anyone who wheels a jeep knows a full size can't go where we do so recovery is a moot point.
If you want CTD toys to drool over, take a look at this site: BD Power
I was at their dyno days this year and saw a couple of trucks that were hitting over 1000 Ft/lbs ... sick
