gotta be electrical .. a wire has got to be disconnected... if you gettin no response at all.. check the ground wire going from the battery to the frame... its gotta be it... if you not grounded at all even when your jumpin from another source... itll act like that... or maybe something fried so damn bad that no current is passing through the circuits...

try this... from the jumper source... connect the red cable to the battery and then the black cable tot he frame or bare metal some where...if you get a response there then you found that you dont have a ground at all soemwhere .. youll have to tack down...

ive heard some of the battery cables on dodges burrnin out ... a few on some rams.. coulda happend in this case...

you can also dissconnect the neg cable from the bater and ohm check it from the point of the cable that connects to the batter .. and the other test lead ground to a bare spot on the frame or sheet mettal...if you get good readings.. like .5 or less ohms then your ground is good....if its more then that.. youll need to check out that cable and make sure its not burnt through or hasnt come dissconted on the frame/body side

im with shott on this one but isent there 2 grounds 1 to the frame and 1 to the chasies id think youd still have lights. then i was thinking maby you had a starter kill on your viper but you should still have lights it just wont start/turnover. id check the connnections in the power distrobution box and on the starter too if there loose too but i kinda doubt they both are. deff do what shott sed too. im kinda stumped. the only outher thing i can think of is your bat is stone dead and wen your jumping it its trying to charge the bat. try the ground on the frame and power on the positive cable but disconect it fron your batt first. what year is it? like i sed im kinda stumped but its gotta be eletrical just start wiggling things lol

thats what i thought too.. a start kill...but that only does that..kills the starter...doesnt kill every electrical circuit in the truck... after thinkin about it for a while..thats the only thing i could come up with... or unless what ryan said (thast funny..thast my name too) your batter is SOOOO dead that its suckin the juice from the donor jumper source... but ive never seen that so bad where you dont get a response what so ever... if that is a possibility .. dissconnect the two battery cables and hook them directly to the jumper source... taking your originall batter right out of the equition to eliminate that being a possibility .. but HIGHLY doubt that could be happening..but ya never know

here is a dumb question but something i just thought of you dont have a master switch do you? i drove a truck into the shop once (it was running wen i got into it) and it had one that automatically shut off wen the truck shut off and it was behind the seat i looked like an idiot wen i had to phone the guy and ask him how to start the truck lol

thats a good thought... all of our engines and trucks and the fire house have them and when i first was traning for driver it took me a while to remember to turn the swtich on... usualy its a big *** rotary switch...those are usually wired in straight to the battery (or batteries in my case)

There a bunch of shut offs on remote starts. One of them could be not grounding right or shorting out. Gonna have to find out where they all are and check those.

does it do anything if you hit a button on the alarm. i know they have that theft thing that totally kills everything if someone trys to steel it. i would try and over ride that. that sounds to me like your problem.

phone (id say take it to but thats noty gonna be easy lol) your alarm shop and tell them the what kind of starter you have and see what its options are and see if but i doubt ther is something that kills everything usally they dont kill the lights and horn so they can go off still go iff if someone trys to steal it. do you just have a remote starter or a alarm/remote starter combo?
