RE: true dual
my dad was tellin me that from like '97 trucks and up would actually use more gas and it is some on how the computers work. here is this example he told me lets just say that the left of the engine is supposed to be dumping a certain amount of gas in the engine but the right side is dumping less so the computer tells the engine to dump more gas into the right side and i guess thats how it uses more gas, but i dont know if that is true so maybe someone can back me up on that one

id like to see some honest straight pipes on a Ram- no cats, no mufflers- sounds like bigredram has teh chance to do that (in wisconsin)-- NC just passed a law that my truck wouldnt need cats either- but the exhaust system is just too pricey for me right now. hey man if you do it (without cats or mufflers) let me know how it sounds!!

oh ok... either way it is still polite to keep a cat unless your draging on the weekends or a wicked street machine.. but a daily driver with no cat...
same here in ny... but thats only on clasic clasified vehicles... 20 yrs or older.. so a 86 or older vehicle doesnt ahve to have any cats on it
