Default What's up with the headlights?

The headlights on my truck are practically useless. Even with them on, I don't see any light in front of the truck, especially compared to the cars around me. They work, they seem properly aligned, but cast only a faint yellowish glow that can't really be seen from inside the cab. I also checked the lenses, but they're clear and not clouded or yellowed. They aren't dim when viewed from the front, but useless from inside the cab. Even the high beams are virtually invisible.

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

um have you tried changing the bulbs? or by 'not dim when viewd from the front' do you mean the bulbs themselves are fine? a friend of mine had to make cone shaped things out of cardboard, with the bulb sticking in the thin end of the cone so that the light was better directed onto the road rather than just out the entire lense. maybe you can try that i dunno.

nice thing about the upgrade is all 4 bulbs are on low beam all the time, then all 4 go to hibeam when needed... it's sweet!

this group buy is where I got mine...
http://www.pavementsucks.com/forums/...6547&old=78064

I'm sure the source is listed in there somewhere. I did have to re-wire my harness to get the lights to work properly but it is well worth it. the pics posted in the thread on the re-wire were wrong (the 2 that I saw anyway) and i'm not sure if they ever got it right.

Wont help that much, I tried that and didnt do any good waste of money. I am gonna do the Headlight change, seems the only way to go.
