Default Fog or Driving Lights?

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...D:100000183667

I just order a Carr Light Wing and need some Driving Lights.
What do you guys think of the KC lights like the link I posted here?
I want something to "brighten up" the road and the goose field when we are setting up decoys in the AM.

I dont want to spend LOTS of $$$, I just ordered my Hypertech PPIIII too so... Santa needs more cash :P
I am looking for my "best bang for my buck".

Thanks for the input.

Dave

had the daylighters on an old jeep I had for plowing snow. They really threw the light out. They also really like the amps. Better have a good battery and alternator with them. Make sure you use a relay when you wire them. If you go right through the switch they will cook the switch. What part of MB are you from?

those are good lights i sell/install lights at work and those are good ones the bulbs arnt too expencive ither. they will draw around 25 amps im asuming you have a 2nd gen ram since your posting here so your truck will have no prob haldleing the extra eletrical demand i have 4 bosh lights at 150 watts each and quad beam lights and have no prob thow i did put in an extra batt just incace. like badram sed make shure you put in a relay for them all your wirring will come with the lights anouther nice thing with KC. if your looking for something too light uo the road make shure there a daylighter not a fog or reg. driving light. to put it shortley i think you will be happy with those lights anf there about the best your gonna get for that price too oh one more thing make shure there stainless steel not crome or black theyll rust and fall abart over time

Wow... thanks for the reply guys, I appreciate it.
So i WILL go with the stainless for sure.

Ryans590, do they come with the relay?
If not what do you recommend for a relay and where is a good place to get?
I ordered so fancy switches, they have a cover that you have to flip up to get at the switch, a good safety feature indeed.

BadRam1500 I am just outside of Winnipeg... St. Andrews, MB.

yes they should come with a relay they should come with a switch too but you can use a diffrent one if you want. you can get relays at any autoparts store and if you do ever half to get anouther one make shure its a 40 amp one. just follow the diagram on the box and you shouldent have any trouble. if you have any outher questions just ask or shoot me a pm

the only downside to that is the fact if there on your roof you cant use them unless your offroad if there on your bumper you can use them with highbeam (depending on your laws but thats the way most work)

i'd hate to be the person in front of me at a redlight when i have 2 1,000,000 candle light spot lights shining in their rear window. you could feel the heat off those bad boys
