i dont think fuel pumps go out enough to really make me want to cut out a hole in the bed.. i'd rather just go the extra hour doing it the hard way

That might work on the 8ft beds but the front of the box hits right over the pump....already checked that out

drop the tank... it's easy! presoak the strap bolts, take a wire brush to them if you have to. dropping the tank was a piece of cake and the whole pump swap took about 1.5 hours.
