Yes the Superchips has a "tow mode"... BUT you are not able to change the shift points with our transmissions, I called HyperTech to be sure. So if you are going with the Superchips over the Hypertech because of the Tow Mode then you have been mislead.

I'd get the hypertech 1st... I think the 87 program is equal to the tow mode on the superchips. you get a boost in performance but it still runs good on 87 w/o pinging...

Hey Teacher did you notice a big differance with the hypertech?I have an 01 also .I think it's been death flashed,I'm looking for the biggest bang for the buck with my next mod.
Off_Road_Teacher I did notice a big jump. I had the death flash too, that is probably why I felt such a big jump in performance. It was definately worth the money.
I'll heartily second this motion!!!!! Go to the link in my other post - if you want one. $284. Cheapest I found. Had it in a week. Made a huge difference. Just run the 87 octane program, there is a dyno sheet I posted on here a while back - or you can go to the Hypertech website and get it, that shows little gain between the 87 and 91 program. Gas is high enough these days without buying premium.

the 87 program on hypertec is about equal to the 87 setting on superchip the tow mode is the max output and there is also a preformence setting whitch is inbetween the two but the tow and preformance require 91+ octane
