thinkin about a front hitch install.... ya know how when you put a rollpan on .. you can still install a hitch reciever behind the liscence plate and have the plate fold down so its nice and tucked out of the way and still looks clean!!!! for us here in NY we have to have plates/tags on both front and back of the vehicle..i have that plastice braket that comes from mopar to install the front liscence plate..i wouldnt be affraid to hack a hole behind it and make that a flip down and a hitch hiding behind it... thers another thing to add on the damn list of things i wanna do!!!!! a front hitch AND tow hooks ( i got them too) would be AWESOMe to pull ANYTHING out of a hole!!!
Actually the front hitch hides tight to the bumper if you dont have a Body lift. The picture above of V10s blue dodge.

GOD RAM IT---sorry to bombard you with questions but i think i would be interested in purchaseing a set of brackets from you, but i have a few more questions....do i need any special nuts and/or bolts that Silver Dodge mentioned to mount the bracket to the frame?? Or can i just use plain old G5 or heavy duty bolts?? Also do i need to do any drilling....and also, cash or check or other??? thanx

I would use no less than Grade 8 bolts. There is only 1 hole that needs to be drilled and that is the one that is in the picture below without the bolt in it. The hole on the bracket is there but not on the trucks cross member.

The special bolt is actually a special nut. It has a handle on it so you can put it on the bolt. The bolt goes in one of the holes without a bolt in it.

If you look in the picture above you'll see a hole in the frame on the top right corner of the picture. you have to put the nut through there in order to get the nut on the bolt. I actually did this and with the help of long handles needle nose plyers it wasnt that hard.
I prefer a check or money order, that way the wife doesnt get her hands on it. HA HA HA

i agree with you shot, it is fun to customize....for me it seems like if i do one thing and finish it i have to go out and get something else to try to put on my truck......

By the way those special nuts you need to mount the brackets, does anybody know if you can just get those at the dealership or can i go to a hardware store....i checked for them quick online and the only ones i could find came with the entire kit.

I doubt you'd be able to get them seperate.

Like I said you can just get a regular nut and put it in there with a pair of needle nose pliers

when you say that we'll only have to drill one hole, thats just for the bracket, right? didnt you say there are no holes in the bracket for the hooks so that we can use whichever ones we want? dont mean to sound stupid just clarifying....

OK my bad. I should have made myself clearer.
You will only have to drill 1 hole on the frame cross member to mount the bracket.
You will have to drill how ever many holes on my bracket to attach what ever tow hook you want. Most tow hooks only have 2 holes.
