I con't light my tires up either from a dead stop and I have a 5.2
If you have the sticker on on the PCM thats the death flash, but the hypertech will fix it.
What gears do you have? Any performance mods? How big are your TIRES? Don't care about wheels![Wink](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Also how big is your exhaust? Is it just a factory replacement? Duel's? 3"? 2.5"? 2.25"? All these answers can help us

I'd sat a combo between your gears being a bit small and your huge exhaust. With a duel 3" exhaust your loosing alot of backbresure, which looses low end tq. I've eard on here fom r afew people that 2.25" is the way to go to keep that low end.
Your tires are 32 X 12's. With 3.55's thats a little on the small side.

2.25 is the way to go...if you want 3" the surface area difference between the two only gets close if you got single 3" or dual 2.25" any type of EFI motor requires a certain amount of exhaust pressure retentain/restriction... backpressure... you also gotta remember them 20's you got on there are heavier then the stock 16's or 17's .. added rotating mass adds drag on the drive train
if you got a 160 amp alt you could think about going elec fans... i was surprised how easy my motor wanted to spin faster and faster... i never had a problem with roasting the rubbs .. but with my mods it takes less effort from my right foot to perform a jaw dropping smoke show...
where did you get that 160 amp alt? im thinking about going up in size to that or the diesel 200 (gotta make sure it fits) and how much you pay for it? best i can find is 180 witch is pretty friggen cheep for a 160 amp alt... good move on going 1/0 piping on the battery cables... did you upgrade all the grounds as well? may sound tedious but you gotta remember if you add higher gauge at one end of the curcuit .. you should raise the other end... by no means should it need 1/0 gauge but it couldnt hurt to bring it up to 8 or 4 gauge... and theres ALOT of grounds hinding around that truck.. make sure you get em all... just a suggestion thats all
i have no idea what that triphase does nor what the hell it is... best assumtion would be a cheep manual timing adjustment
loss of performance even with your current mods would make me think of a stretched timing chain... best way to check is stick a timing light on it..if it anywhere near past TDC (- range) id accuse a t-chain... known for stretching due to the nylon coating that DC puts on them to keep them quite...
id seriously considerd chokin that exhaust up a bit... especialy on a 318... 2.25 is your ticket
