I wanna get a Jeep or really old truck just so use for wheelin. WHatever is cheap and needs to least ammount of work is what I'll probably get, but not a Ford! I wouldn't get a 2nd Gen dodge either because how hard I'm gonna beat this thing would be a shame to do to a Dodge
maybe a Jeep
maybe a Jeep
yea thats why hes gettin it- wheelin
he has an explorer that hes tried takin off road with me, and it does well for stock, but he flooded it once already and with leather seats (eddie bauer edition) thats not good!!- to see pics of him stuck a few times and read stuck stories of him check out my cardomain site.....
but yea hes plannin on buyin this for off road use only- he probably wont even register it or get it insured. good idea for someone with teh money (im sooo jealous)

I rented a Ford this past weekend to haul two S10 Blazers I sold on E-Bay. The Ram has a MUCH more firm ride, while this Ford rattled and had poor footing on the gravel road I live on. I told my son that I would take the Dodge any day of the week.
If what he's looking at is a hi-boy with the part time (cast iron) case then there is nothing Dodge or Chevy made that can touch it offroad. Even with the full time aluminum case they are probably better. Otherwise, my opinion is that Ford and Chevy are about equal and have there shares of different problems. None the guys that mud race where I used to live use Dodge. I don't know the reason but they are 40% Ford and 60% Chevy (old Chevy's are cheap and cheaper to build up).
wow im surprised more people didnt come in and jump all over Ford. well thanx for the honest information..... from what yall are sayin maybe he'll have to tow me out someday

the high boy is one heck of a machine, factory lift, monster moter, and bulletproof driveline, Granted its now power wagon, but its the most capable truck ford ever rolled out

I like Dodge but it's pretty hard to beat a Ford wen it comes to trucks. Especially reliability wise. My next truck may be a Ford. Of course it may not be also. I really wanted a F-250 diesel with the 7.3L when I bought my ram but could never find a nice few year old one in good shape and I'd rather have my Ram than one with the 6.0L.

I bought my Dodge because Magnums are supposed to have better towing power and for crash worthiness.
