mudflaps would help ya know... get some off a semi those are pretty damn wide. hell get a couple of the cheap ones at autocrap and bolt them together.

steve that sucks man.. nice truck ridin mean... and the engine is gonna blow look out!!

still i gotta say i hate the way the stock tires and rims look on the new ram. they need to be 20's or HUGE tires then it will look right. it's almost like the truck is going to swallow up the tires.

i just have to say the new CTD 2500's are a badA$$ truck.

About the rock chips...my truck has the bottom quarter pannel along the whole side sprayed with a glossy low pressure bed liner cover and i love it. Most people dont even notice it and when they do they love it. My tires stick out about 2 inches from my body and i dont have mud flaps.. but i also dont have any rock chips. And driving through tall brush doesnt scratch the paint either.

i might go back to the bedliner guy i got my spray in done and see if i cant get the rockers done as well... the only thing is the type that he sprays (rebel liners) doesnt come tinted... i might have him spray some test peices and see how well some ppg will adhere to it... if it does well ill just shoot the black with my color code and clear it and should be all set and in theroy all you would notice is a texture difference ... i actually saw a ram at the trany place today that was all white and had the bedliner sprayed on the lower parts of the entire truck ... stuck out liek sore thumb but then again the contrast was cool.. almost made the truck look twotone with the second tone being the black bedliner and all the way down about 2 inches past the lower body line

My dad has an 03 Desiel. He took it to a guy that builds race desiels for some advice on a little extra umph. The man changed out his injectors with slightly larger ones, not the seriously big ones and his mileage increased 2-3 MPG right away, with a noticable seat power improvement. He said that several of the spray holes were plugged with only 25000 miles on it. The man told him that if he wanted more it would cost big bucks to do it correctly and for normal driving and towing a horse trailer, would just kill mileage. Just depends on what he wants to do with it.

This leads me to another question. Do our gas injectors have multiple holes? If so, could be a lot of mileage issues..........

yea.. the injectors got like a bunch of tony tony holes... but deisel is a "disgusting" fuel... low low flash poit ... you can literly drop a match into a drum of vehicle grade desiel and it wont blow at all... ive seen this done too.... ironically jet fuel.. aka JP5 or JP8 is just thinner more refined desiel... they are pretty much the same animal ... the actual temp of the fuel has to be pretty high for it to ignite.. ie. compression ratios with desiels...

with that being said gasoline is a more refined fuel and doesnt clog as much as deseil does... thats only a base line statement..ive seen injectors with 10,000 miles on them and were completley clogged beyond belief... although the vehicle/owner bought the gas from "abu's kwicki mart" and 10 other vehciles report the same problems...

anywho... gas shouldnt ..or normally wont clog injectors as often or as bad as desiel will... and takes a while to do as well... the crap that clogs injectors is the crap that gets pass your fuel filter
