After all the regenerations of the Ram, I think the 94-01 is still the best looking truck that has ever designed by a auto manufacturer. You can't beat the original. I have 98 QC 4x4 Forest Green and the color to me is still the best green ever put on a truck. I think Dodge did the truck in by making it a 4 door. In my opinion, the QC was fine.

I think one of the coolest things about the Dodge Ram is that when you see one coming at you, you know it's a truck. Not like the Chevy's and Fords who turned their trucks into suv's.

I agree. I like the 2nd gen styling even better then the 3rd gen, though it took me some time to come to that realization.
I'm also fond of the Ford styling from the 70's.

I used to live out your way many many years ago. How I miss Colo Spgs. I have a link to a cam that shows Pikes Peak live. My only hook back to the state now that I live in VA. Used to have a motorcycle too. The Citadel was the happening mall when I was there. You lucky dog.

 

Yup, it's a beautiful place to live. I take it for granted sometimes because I have grown up in this area my entire life. Comments like yours make me re-remember how nice it is though.

I love the looks of the 2nd gens. But I think the 3rd gens are starting to grow on me. When I bought mine, I was looking at a couple 3/4 ton 3rd gens as well as the 1/2 ton 2nd gen I ended up buying. I couldnt stand the look of them though. Now a couple of my friends have 3rd gens and after being around them so damn often, I think they look kind of neat.. but still not as cool as the 2nd gen.

 

Just like the 2nd gens did. right? I think the 3rd gens look like **** with the factory wheels and that big *** nose, but, when steve00ram360 posted the pics of that 2500 he was looking at, I have to say the 3rd gen has some potential-IMO. I have owned Dodges my whole life (9 to date), and, when they came out with the 2nd gens, I thought "what the hell are they thinking" then they grew on me and I bought one.

It's like the man says, "lead, follow, or get out of the way".

3rd Gens, they just don't look right. To much windshied and hood a few buddies have 3rd gens. Put us together and the 2nd gen has a meaner stance to me. Smaller grill with the headlights looks like a snarle, The 3rd's look like a clown smile. Sorry, no disrespect to them but. The body line just don't do it for me either, The 2nd's have the wheel well flares. In all like I said it just looks meaner.

I was going to buy a new '04, but just didn't like the looks or the spongy ride.
They brought my '01 from Texas in late '04 with 23,000 on it.
A little underpowered with the 318, but still like it better than the new ones.
