yea thats exactly what it is.

people buy cold air intakes to get smooth air flow, then they think something that creates a vortex will help power and fuel efficiency? o well. we'll see what happens for real when he gets his two turbonators.

I'll warn you now that a friend of mine had a Turbonator installed and it actually decreased his gas mileage. He kept it in there for a few tanks to see if anything improved. After time he sorta forgot about it until the problem sort of solved itself. One of the blades snapped off and was sucked into his engine. He had to rip apart his engine block to get all the pieces out. No real damage done, but he caught it pretty quick once it started making noise. I'm sure that if it had gone on for much longer it could have done some serious damage. I highly advise against using for any length of time.

i read an article in popular mechanics where they tested a few ways to get better gas mileage.

one of the items they tested was the turbonator. results?= NO mpg gains, LOST 15% power (lost...)

i really hope nobody spends their money on these.

Well, I'll do a good check on just the build before the install.
No offense, but I always hear of friends or other hearsay.
I want a personal experience reference.
Luckily, the mileage display won't lie.
I know it may be a longshot, but I figured what the heck!
I got 30 days.
If a piece does break, it's lawsuit time.
Maybe the friend cranked the clamp too tight, eggshaping the housing,.
I don't know.
Sorry if this sounds bad, its not intended to be negative attitude towards anyone.
If you had a personal experince with one, let me know.
