Default Throttle body spacers. Good mod or Good Paperweight

Hi Guys,

I am looking in to buying a TB Spacer and hear many different things. Looking to purchase the Poweraid Model but wanted to throw this out there to see what everyone thinks.

it would go on a 1999 2500 V10 2WD Stock

Thanks

ok here's the gist of it..

DON'T BUY ONE!!!

the only way it will improve anything for a naturaly asperated engine is if it's carbed. a 1999 v10 is not carbed so don't waste the money

Don't buy one. As pointed out, it won't work on your fuel injected vehicle.

Save your money for a K&N FIPK, Set of Headers, or a Fastman TB. Those are the 3 things that wake the V10 up the most.

If you need a paperweight - you can go outside and pick up a rock for free. It would probably look better on your desk than that junk tb spacer also.....DON'T DO IT!

Hmm, I had a throttle body spacer on my 94 Chevy 4.3 and it helped it out a little bit (2-3 HP gain) but only because it was Throttle Body Injected (not direct port injection like the newer vehicles). So my old truck basically had an electronic Carb . It wasnt worth the money IMO..

And I'm glad that I read this forum, I found one on ebay for like 25 dollar a couple days ago and almost bought it...
