You sure you don't have them mixxed up? A friend has Cool Blues and they suck. They are also lower in the line than the Silverstars.
Yeah, I've got the Cool Blues in mine and they're terrible. I put in one Cool Blue and left the other stock one in and the stock one was noticeably brighter. The Cool Blue were a little blueish/whiter, but less light output. My buddy's got the Silverstars in his 03 Ram and they were a lot brighter than his stock ones. I've heard nothing but great things about those new Hella bulbs, though. I saw em at Advance Auto and a friend that works there said they were REALLY bright, and it was the whitest headlight he'd seen. 45 bucks a set though.

I have bought several XEnon bulbs for my truck and most of them suck! Yeah they look blue but you can't see anything! Most of this is due to their high color temperature (8000k and 10000k) I bought a true HID conversion for my '06 GSXR with a 5000k bulb and it was excellent! I would like to do the same thing on my ram because true HID is awesome! There are a lot of cheaper ways to go, but if you are serious about driving at night or interested in being safer by being able to see what's coming up in the road, $150 is cheap in my opinion to possibly avoid hitting something that I may not be able to see with the stock lights or even Xenon bulbs....and by the way the Sylvania's are the best i've ever had in my truck because they don't have such a blue tint, making them brighter than most other bulbs

i had purchased some 8500k bulbs from a ricer dealer in toronto at the grand prix. they were only $25 for the pair. and same as everone else, could not see a damn thing. its a good thing they BOTH burned out within 2 months replaced them with GE Nitehawks, they worked wekk but again only lasted about 3 months. so now im using the sylania siverstars. $20 each, nice bright white light, and theyve been in 4 motnhs so far.

i would love a HID conversion thats for sure.
