I've noticed a very small amount of tranny fluid on the ground. I don't noticed it everday and it is not much at a time (just a few drops). I check the fluid level and that looks good. I had everthing changed and filled about six months ago. I was told everything looked good then. My worry is this is a sign of something bad to come, or is it just a gasket seeping a little?

could be the tail shaft seal... common to leak a little bit form there.. look up underneath and where the drive shaft plugs into the t-case (4X4) or the tranny (2X4) and youll see what im talkin about... if you notice some moisture there and maybe a droplet or too..id get it check out... not sure on how to change it but if you look at a haynes or chiltons..or even better yet the merry christmas thread pinned at the top of the forum..has a PDF manual you can download..thatll give ya some info on what that seal is and what it takes to change it

Hopefully might just need to snug up the pan bolts. If you had the pan off, a new gasket could have sofened. Wipe it down and see where it is coming from.
