5.9L Magnum V8 into Jeep wrangler, help!
I mentioned in an earlier post that i was swapping in a V8 from a 1999 Dodge ram into my wrangler.
Well i have been reassembling my engine (moly rings, hi volume oil pump, R/t Heads, every seal and gasket new etc) and its getting to the point where i need to start getting belt driven accesorries and their brackets.
Does anyone have a good source for these brackets? i cant find any. like the alternator bracket and the power steering pump bracket? I will not be running A/C. . .
I also need a 1999 Dodge Ram FSM if anyone has one of those.
And if anyone has pictures of the engine plumbing i would love some of those too! For example i have no idea where the coolant recovery line goes. ( the one coming out of the side of the water pump) Heater core Plumbing, belt routing etc.
My problem is assembling this thing from a short block and having no idea about the small stuff!
Any clear pictures of engine bays would be appreciated!
I have a few low quality build pictures laying around if anyone wants them . . .
I think this is going to end up pretty nicely.
Thanks for you help guys

Chris
well Im going through that right now. I had a 5.2 in my truck and Kept the same pcm BUT it doesnt run correct. I've been talking to a lot of engine rebuilders and a friends friend that is "mr dodge" and he said you have to change the pcm to a 5.9 you may even need to change the injectors. So thats what im doing as soon as i can.

Not to sure if this is what your looking for but I labled some stuff. Also the Green outlined thing is the acc. bracket. I dunno if you have one but you'll need it. Alt mounts on the left of it as well as a pulley. Any other more specific pics you need? I'll be happy go snp some
