Default RE: Alarm System: which one?

ORIGINAL: attila

thanks for detailed hints!

well I'll go Viper, I saw it about 15 years ago when I was teen reading Car Stereo. The price was so high about 10 times the actual one!

I put in my old car a hidden solenoyd activated valve in the fuel line actuated by an electronic key ( a resistor in a 3,5 mm audio jack) so the engine run about 1/4 mile then died.

My truck here is an eye catcher.... I believe the only SS/T in Italy, not so popular like in USA.

Where do you suggest to install the main unit?

thanks again
I found a great place to install my DEI (Viper) was in the dashboard, behind the control panel for the heating/cooling system. you can run wires over the insterments to the headlight switch. and under the dash right into the main harness.
also if you extend the wires (cut and splice in about 2 feet) you can put the control switches for the alarm inside the garage door opener copartment, and the LED can be mounted where the factory alarm LED would be mounted between the dome lights. at least that worked on my 99. sorry for the long post.
