woot! new O2 sensor, all my problems are disappearing!

yeah thats pretty bad.. from a full tank to half a tank i can get over 200 miles.. but then after that it just steady drops [:@] my highest was 315 on a full tank and all highway miles.. my last fillup was 289 when then gas light came on.. and that was around town

you have a short bed right?
i have long bed, 35 gallon tank...$75 to fill up [:@]

i should have some range though when i get the cash to fill it...

yeah i have a 26 gallon tank.. 289 miles on 26 gallons is around 10.5-11 mpg.. cant beleive the gas mileage these things get!

Thanks for the advice, maybe one day I'll change it. My 98 will be 10 years old next Sept (I know the manufactuing date for all of my cars and truck, sad but true). I still cannot believe that much time has gone by. Wow. Aside from the sensors on the TB, I have never changed any others, don't know if I should just becase they are old or not. I replaced all of the TB sensors when I put on my Fastman TB last December. I have no idea what mpg I get in my truck. I was never the one to calculate mpg's as I have always driven 8 bangers and figured what's the point. It seems to get the same mpg as my 73 Charger and 76 Lincoln both with big block v-8's, ironically mpg has not improved in 30 years at least with the 360 cid in the truck. Punch it...and the needle never recovers.
