I don't know if anyone knows about this site but it also has a plenum fix. How does it compare to APS? They have a lot of cool stuff for our magnum engines. The intake manifolds look nice. Thanks for looking and i hope this may help some people.

I don't know I am trying to put mine off but if I do it I want to get the timing chain swapped out also. While I am there I might just pick up a modified intake from Hughes also, since I'm not really sure what all is involved in modifying one. I just have major reservations about breaking open my motor right now.

Hmm, the 2000 - 2001 doesnt need a plenum fix? Can someone verify this? If so then I wont even bother with fixing the plenum, save the money, and go for a Fastman and CAI

In either 2001 or 2002 they started using the metal gasket instead of the flimsy paper one. They still used the stamped metal pan though. That's the main problem because the aluminum intake and the steel pan expand and contract at different rates. The aluminum pan that apsprecision and Hughes sell solve this problem. I used the al pan and felpro gasket and haven't had a problem since. Hughes is a good source for mopar stuff.

My truck has never done anything like that yet but I still think I will end up doing it this summer. I need to get the ***** up to tear into that motor, hopefully I will get some help from the guys that work at the shop too. I think when I finally do that I want to get RR's, a modified intake, the throttle body and get the double roller timing chain. Would R/T heads give me much benefit on a 5.2? I think I would rather do it all at once though so in the mean time I need to keep saving. Hopefully I don't have to buy a tranny or anything between now and then.
