what are the 5.2 engine differences?
I asked some Jeep guys about it and they said that the difference is in the cam, egr and manifolds.
I don't know which cam would be a better cam, ie more torque.

For the 1995 Ram the PCM computer should be the OBD-I version which is quite a bit different than the OBD-II systems installed in Rams afterwards.
In 1996 for the 5.2V8 in the Jeep the OBD-II PCM computer should be still optimized for 87 octane and the engine fan should still be a viscous clutch. In 1998 Jeep went to a higher HP & Torque PCM program for the 5.2 that advanced the ignition timing about 12 degrees, and also installed an electric fan as standard.
On some years Jeep the 5.2/5.9 V8s have slightly different cast iron exhaust manifold designs than the Ram or Dakota trucks.
