RAISE IT!!!!

I hate when I see trucksscrapin street. Trucks are sposed to be HUGE! At least in Texas, that's how all the trucks are!

And from a girl's point of view, its way sexier to have a guy with a huge truck! hahahaha yep!

Although Cowgirl makes a good point , I would agree with everyone that said- Do what you think looks good or performs well. It's your truck, who cares what anyone else thinks? Having said that, it sounds like you want to lower it and that's what I would do if I were you.

I personally like my trucks BIG.

well i was just wondering for a friend of mine. he wants to put rims on it and he thinks it already sits to high and that he wouldnt like the looks of it. hes not a hillbilly so he dont want to raise it. is there a ceartin kit that is best for the 4x4 if so who makes it and where can he find it how much does it cost?

as for a lifted truck. . . more power to ya. cause it takes more power anyways to turn the extra weight. plus I like going fast... and not in a straight line either soIMO lower is better for a car at least.

Well, since it's a 4X2 I don't see any practical reason in lifting it. But since you mentioned going to the track and racing I would lower it, but don't slam it. I like the pics on this thread of the lower sitting Rams. I think they look good. I just think that lowering it would help you performance wise if you plan on racing. Something to do with drag or something. I don't really know, I've just heard that the lower the vehicle, the faster it can go. But this is all just my opinion. It's your truck and you can do whatever you want to with it.

I saw lift it 2-3" and get some 31-33s on there so it sits at 4x4 level. It will look nice.

Indy, the truck with HP Indy on the plate looks like the right front wheel is tilted in. Maybe just an illusion.

As mentioned, mybuddy HP Indy is on bags and when he parks it, drops it to the ground. Acts as security cause it makes it real hard to jack it, tow it, steal a rim etc. When its on the ground bottomed out the front wheels tilt in on both sides. Drive height is a 5/7 drop.

Cost alot more but you could bag the truck so it can be raised above stock ride hieght or drop below it. That way it could be used for mild offroad or dragstrip fun, best of both worlds
