They're pretty straight foward to instal, any kit you buy comes with the needed wiring!

the hardest part is finding the tach signal and i can help ya with that

1994 1998 TACH GRAY/BLACK or BLACK/GRAY @ IGNITION COIL

1999 2001 TACH BLACK/GRAY @ IGNITION COIL

OR you can find the gray/black wire in the bundle of wires leading to the PCM..that wire is your tach signal aswell... actually its the same wire just a different location... the rest of the wiring for an aftermarket tach is self explainatory,,, normall your gonna have a black- ground heavy red- 12V constant smaller red 12V switched...

wiring may vary between models and manufacturers of aftermarket tachs ..if you have any problems hit us back!

Wirings pretty easy as long as you have a schematic (Haynes/Chiltons/Mopar), the hard part is deciding which tach to get and where to mount it I found.

rpm limit is usually at 5K.. the rev limiter usually kits in at or around there... a hypertech programer lets you adjust the rev limit and move it up or down by 100 rpm incriments

not for him; i think he said it was a 94- OBD I- only hypertech for that is a piggyback so the rev limiter wouldnt be able to be adjusted.

dang that sux... i didnt pay attention to the rest of the threads

you could get the PCM reflashed but its kinda pricey if your just looking for the rev limit erased especially on a stock motor with no work done to it.. ie built up to hand higher rpms like a stroker etc
