there is no cutting. I have them, and for coverage and looks they are great but the day I bounce off a tree they will be in pieces. They arent built to take a hit like the Stillen fender flares I had.
Nobody makes a Cut out flare for the 2nd gen dodges because there isnt anything to cut on the rear part of the fender.

I have seen the bushwacker ones, and the Stillen ones
Go with stillen they are made of a polycarbon rubber (or whatever the hell it is) and they will flex and take abuse. The last thing you want to do is try to replace a plastic fender flare, or even try to find one

for the price of the bushwacker and xenon (i think thats what the other brands are) flares, and if they may crack and shatter when hit...id go with that stillen brand guys aobve were talkin about... i know with the new tires and rims and the difference in backspacing i might need to figure out a set of flares for my rig
