wow, according to those graphs, I would rather run the 87 octane program on my 2001 5.2 ... the difference between the gain in both are:

Premium - +21 HP + 31 TQ
Regular - +18 HP +35 TQ

I would be missing out on 3 HP but gaining 4 lbs/tq ... I Like torque =D

Oh yeah I'm liking the top speed increase also... 128 MPH ... hehe
Ya, I run the 87 octane program for that same reason. I tried both and honestly thought the 87 felt more powerful. Could have been in my mind though. One thing that was evident with the 87 versus the 91, no pinging when ambient temps were 90 F + and I was under a load. I stay with the 87 setting in the summer time for that reason.

I don't think you can get a hypertech for the '96 5.9L... At least I haven't found one yet?

there is a hypertech for the 96. it's a 96-01 i think. at least that's what i seem to have found searching the net. damn i love that thing such a good time waster. well that and posting here.

Post a link to it... it isn't on hyper techs website. I thought the 1996 dodge ram didn't have a reprogramable computer.

you know the 5.9 is a bigger engine then the 6.0 chevy motors?? 360 dodge and the chevy is 348. (thought it was a 400). but that damn chevy vortec motor still puts out 100 more hp then the 5.9s [:@]
