Default bigger tank

I am looking for a was to increase the fule carrying of my 1500 reg cab short bed. I can't do a bed tank since it is all set up for camping, I would be willing to put the spare on the roof and use that space for another tank. Has anyone tried to do this? dose anyone offer a kit to do this?

I know Aero makes one, but it only works if you have a 4wd truck and space for the 34 gallon tank, which the reg. cab short box doesn't. They have a spare tire tank replacement as well.

I know in the article below it's installed on a CTD, but I believe they have a kit to make it work with the gassers as well.

The brand new 2007 Ram 3500 Cab & chassis model is supposed to have a 52 gallon tank that fits where the spare tire usually is, and the press release also mentioned an 'auxillary 26 gallon tank' available as an option.

It is possible this could be retrofitted to an older Ram too.

The older design full size 1990's Phord Broncos' had large 40 gallon gas tanks where the spare tire usually is mounted underneath a truck. It looks to me this could be fitted to a Ram if the spare tire is moved and there tire mount steel bracket is taken out.
