CAI on ebay: what's the best?

RE: CAI on ebay: what's the best?
get the K&N setup. of all the ones I've seen it is the best in my opinion. the only thing I'd change about it is to insulate the shield better, blocking off the sides and bottoms so water/hot air cant be sucked in while driving. Make the air entry point thru the bumper past the splash guard (which you remove) area...

anything that will open up the tube and not pull hot air will be better than stock period. i'm personally likeing the ram air box that indy used to have on there. pulling air from the front bumper.. seems like it would be coldest and also be forcing air while driving.
k&n has a really good track record around here.
stay away from the older airaid ones as they were prone to rusting.

i had a k&n drop in, 1 week on s&b cai. this unit draws air from the fender, no disassembly to inspect filter. the filter housing bolts to the inner fender. easy install. the benefits i see are that the filter itself isnt on top of a hot engine, design is smooth to help airflow. i will measure mpg at next fillup, my goal was an increase during summer (when gas prices go up)
