Default Update on my $ grabber.

well for those of you that have been helping me along the way i thank you. Right now its in the shop getting the new 5.9 computer put in it, I noticed my front passenger Axle seal leaking too so thats getting fixed, and my main steering linkage is loose and leaking too, they noticed, so that is getting fixed as well.

Ive been driving it around for a few weeks with the IAC unhooked and my front O2 sensor unhooked to keep it running. it still dies on me when its cold, but when it warms up i have REALLY bad detonation. I hated to drive it but quite frankly it ran me outa $ so thats the way i had too. I saved up a little to get it fixed again and more sh*T (mentiond above)went on it again so im back to broke again. Man i hope the da*m thing will finally get to running right a whole year after the new engine was put in. Sad thing is it only has 61000 miles on it. Its lucky its a head turner, for its looks and deep throaty exhaust, or else it be in the paper tomorrow. Oh well, lifes a biatch and then you marry one.

Well the pcm helped a itsy bitsy bit.... but it still stalls and dies and detonates. I think once i get some more money saved up I am just gonna take the cam out and say the hel* with it. Nothing but headaches the last year.

Did you install the cam properly in the first place? The guys at hughes have a kit where you can dial the cam in correctly yourself. Did you have the pcm flashed for your cam? Don't give up on a MOPAR. When you say shop, I hope you don't mean dealer. Any one of those monkeys that mentions pcm should be stoned to death with all the ones they have astericked up in the past. I would say you either need to get the truck to a speed shop in your area, or call B&G or KRC to get the pcm flashed for your cam. Aside from that, try hooking your o2 and your intake air control back up, and take the vacuum line going to your map sensor off of the TB. Cap off the boss coming out of the TB. Then extend the line coming out of the map and hook it directly into manifold vacuum. If you do not have a spare boss in the manifold, you can buy a tee and splice it into the line going to your pcv or the master cylinder. This will more than likely solve your stall problem, and in combo with plugging your **** back in may help with ping if your belly gasket is good and your motor is not carbon riddled.

Hope you get it straight.

Well up in Edmonton Canada no one here has the ability to adjust the pcm to where it needs to be. Comp cams says my cam is mild enough to not need changes to the pcm. The IAC and O2 are hooked back up allready, and I have allready re routed my MAP sensor line and teed it into my manifold via another line (did that over a month ago) didnt help. I have heard of shot talking about the sea foam and am gonna give that a try, I have sprayed a whole shiz load of throttle body cleaner in the manifold to try and get rid of the carbon, if there is any. My plugs are clean.. almost like running too lean. And yah it was a dealer but the guy that put my engine in doesnt know shiz about problem solving stuff like this. Too bad cause he is the best in Ed at modding engines, just not mopar ones i guess.

Seafoam works good. Carbon build up will lean out your A/F, but causing a stall at idle...?. I am assuming you already checked to see if it's throwing any codes, have you put a vacuum gauge on it or checked fuel pressure?
