Average for a 5.2V8 in a Ram is about 14,
and the range of 'mixed' MPG
based mainly on driver habits and partly on driving conditions
seems to be 10 to 18
meaning about 5% get less than 10
about 5% get better than 18
and 68% get between 12 and 16
5.9V8 Rams seem to be about 2 MPG less than a 5.2
but at highway cruise the difference declines to about 1 or less
especially at speeds above 75 mph or with heavy towing.
This Popular Mechanics magazine survey of 2 million miles of Ram driving is the biggest I know of:

Out of my 5.2 I was able to get 17-19 on highway and 14 in city... That was mainly while i was at sea level in Panama City FL.... However now I'm getting like 12-14 on highway and 7-9 in city...
