little recent update (56k warning)
Got those shelby stripes done for the truck, she's starting look original compared to all the other dodges in this town.
thats all I wanted.. after I get my pushbar, she'll be left alone for upgrades until after I purchase my house.
Average picture size is 700kb.

$450 +14% tax Canadian, (most of which was labour), i could've done them myself, but I'd rather pay someone to be sure they're exact and perfect rather than have ( | \ ) crooked style stripes
I got them done at a local sign shop in town. I knew the people who worked on it and they told me that its not unusual to see shelby stripes like this cost up to $800 per application due to the curves in the vehicle.

You should have gotten them a little wider in my opinion (not spaced wider, just each stripe wider), like this:

But overall it looks good. Are you going to remove the black molding peice on the tailgate? The stripes would look better without that peice I think.
I did a set of these vinyl stripes in white on a '92 Camaro RS when I was in college. Install was a little tricky in the curvy spots, but overall it was pretty easy to lay out. Everyone thought they were painted on.

yeah originially I thought fat stripes would look ok.. but since the rockers are 9" and the stripes currently are 8" it balances quite nicely..
I didnt want to overdo the striping and overbalance it.
if, or whenever I paint my truck black , i'll be inverting, and the stripes will be white, as I'll just remove them after the paint is on.
so then the stripes and all lettering will be painted white.
