Default Water noise

Over the last couple of weeks i have been noticing a noise that sounds like water flowing through a hose coming from under the passenger side dash, It is not a constant noise and usually does it when i get on the gas. I have since changed the radiator cap, thermostat, and checked coolant levels and hoses numerous times. I am running out of ideas and thinking of replacing the heater core. Before i go out and buy a new heater core i would like to get some more opinions from anyone who has had a problem like this or knows what it is. Any info is appreciated. Truck is 1995 dodge ram 1500 5.9l 4x4.

air bubble in the coolant system.. you could try to burp it... search burp and theres a few ways to do it... check you coolant level aswell make sure your not low

I've heard it in many different vehicles...2 main things it could be...either air in the system, air bubbles flowing thru the heater core would be audible since it's close-by...or heater core becoming plugged or a chunk of lime/calcium got lodged in there from somewhere else...backflush the core by removing the heater hoses and of course capturing the coolant in compliance with EPA guidelines :P.

Or have it done professionally, so the neighbors don't call the cops when you spill a drop.

If you have A/C, have fun if you change the heater core. It's not the easiest one on the list...

I was the faucet guy

https://dodgeforum.com/m_424798/tm.htm

Coolant was low when I checked in the rad itself. Took me adding coolant twice, it was down probably a quart, but the noise is completely gone now.
