I just wanted to drop in & Let you guys/Galz know That Dodge Likes there customers..
Man what a safe truck..
I was in the nastyest crash of my life & It was in the Dodge Ram My Dad Gave me for my B-Day
It had 170k on it & was a blast to drive I was almost finished putting the sound system in & next was a nice set of rims (Off Roaders)
Check out the pix of this Horiffic crash & Relax next time you see someone loosing it & comming at you..

I want to cry so much... What a waste of an engine =( But at least your still alive!!!!

Is the engine still good? (Fromt the looks of it i would say no but i could be wrong). What size engine was it? wanna sell? lol

Alright on a more serious note, that looked like it hurt a lot... The front end man, if it didnt have the RAM 1500 emblems i couldnt tell what it was...

EDIT: Is that the new mustang you hit?

 

it looks like a new mustang but if you look closely theres sides scoops rigth behind the front wheel in that last pic........

uh holy **** dude[sm=jawdrop.gif] damn im glad your alright. im guessing the airbag went off. how was the other driver and how did it happen?

 

I chose the Dodge over a Ford and Chevy for two reasons: 1) hauling capacity, and 2) crash protection. This picture proves the latter of my choices.

I wouldn't even bother with the engine. There are so many invisible forces at work that the crank could have been broken and mauled the inside of the engine. As I understand it, that's not uncommon when a rear collision happens and the driveshaft has nowhere else to go.

 

Wow! Sounds like you are ok. Wish we could say the same for your truck.

 

I'm in fire/rescue and I've seen a dodge ram T-bone a car at 60 mph and kill the driver of the other car, completely crush it in where we have to cut the car up......but the dodge just had a bent in bumper and drove away from the scene. You must have hit extremely hard, because in my 5 years in fire/rescue I've never seen a dodge beat up that bad in an accident.

However, notice that the entire cab area is completely intact.....very well done, Dodge.

 

Well the other car as stated is a 2000 Firebird..
It was doing 55 on impact I was doing about 45
The Firebird had (3) Kids in it.. None of them made it.. its a bit hard to deal with but hey Im walking so Im just gunna Pull up my Pants & get the best out of my 2nd chance.. I dont think they will get much from the truck I think the tail gate & the 4 wheels are good thtas about it.. evan the dash is busted..
The motor.. its on the ground & some of it was tossed into the bed of the truck..
