Help! This code reads Int Control Module Memory Check Sum Error....my engine light stays on but it runs fine....at least I feel like it does. Its a 4x4 V8 2001 1500...thanks in advance.

 

that code is "powertrain control module(pcm) internal controller failure." the pcm is located on your firewall on the passenger side. that is what is malfunctioning. there might just be something small failing which is unoticeable unless you are looking for it. have it checked out. just remember if you replace it you need to have it reprogrammed bye a drb scan tool, not an aftermarket one like a hypertech tuner. a dealership can program it for you.
